Having a good variety of sound is key to producing a successful film. If it is done write it will evoke emotional responses, emphasizes what is being projected, and overall get the audience engaged. Sopranos sound was used very precisely by including certain thing at specific times. For instance, ambient sounds were used when Mr. Soprano opened the newspaper and the sound of nature, these affects grasp the audience’s attention to what is going on. At the begging of the clip to build suspension a silence broke out for a short time period this helps the audience focus on every detail to what is happening. Lastly, an upbeat background music was played towards the begging of the clip intensifying it and fastening the pace.
